Network Recovery
Voice and data service networks are mission critical to every business. Telecommunications is vital for any organization, especially in a disaster situation. ICM’s Network recovery services provide a rapid response following any such catastrophic event.
With wide area connectivity between every ICM Business Continuity Centre, customers can connect from any one of our centres to any another - or to their own sites. ICM’s RecoveryNet is capable of connecting all the company’s Business Continuity Centres, even those away from traditional metropolitan areas; at up to 622Mbit/s (maximum bandwidth currently installed is 155Mbit/s).
These Network Recovery services are being further enhanced. ICM is currently implementing a Nationwide Ethernet roll out programme to all 15 Business Continuity Centres. As of April 2008 the following centres are covered by this service:
- East Midlands – Nottingham
- London City – Wapping
- London Essex - Romford
- London South Wes t- Farnborough
- North West – Manchester
- Scotland Central – Glasgow
- West Midlands – Birmingham
The Ethernet roll out will continue on through 2008 until all ICM’s Business Continuity Centres have this facility providing greater scalability, enhanced flexibility and faster access with speeds up to 1GB between centres.
