In the case of a business disruption, ICM’s Emergency Office provides secure connectivity to the data and systems your employees need to continue working productively. The solution is provided on a USB memory stick, which activates a secure connection to your corporate network from any broadband internet connection. Staff can use their home PCs to connect to a virtual desktop environment and can continue working throughout.

Working from home with USB Recovery Disk

It is an ideal solution for staff not incorporated into a physical workarea recovery plan, or where relocating to a central alternative is not an option – such as a pandemic threat or widearea incident. Where a traditional workarea plan would usually accommodate 20-30% of staff, identified as ‘business critical’, Emergency Office is scalable up to 100% of your workforce.

Why Choose Emergency Office as a mobile working recovery solution?

  • Minimises lost productivity as staff who would otherwise be unable to work can continue to be productive during periods of disaster and recovery
  • Avoid overtime expenses where staff would otherwise need to process a back-log of work after a disaster
  • The entire solution is managed by ICM technical experts including implementation and management
  • No software or applications are installed, so there is zero footprint on the guest PC
  • Virtual environment enables access nationally and internationally and encompasses home, remote and mobile users over any broadband connection
  • ‘Self-contained’ solution means that no travel is required and congregation of staff is avoided so the risk of spreading or receiving infection is greatly reduced
